Membership Champion
The club with the highest net increase in membership.
Membership Award
One Award in each “Club Classification Group” for the highest net increase in membership.
(Note: A District with a net gain of 2% will receive the Melvin Jones Founders membership Growth Award from LCI)
Best Club Award
-
The Outstanding Club in the District
-
Award for clubs that meet or exceed District Monetary Goals.
-
One Award in each “Club Classification Group” for the following
categories: (1) Humanitarian Services, (2) Community Services,
(3) Best Bulletin, (4) Best Attendance at Zone, Cabinet meetings,
Mid-Winter and State Conventions. (NOTE: Only monies received
through the Cabinet Secretary/Treasurer and verified receipts from NCLF
will be used to calculate totals for each club.)
100% Club Award

Have a net increase in membership by May 1, 2011.
-
Have a 100% Secretary.
-
District Dues, Lions Club International Dues and LCI Club Supplies
purchases paid on time. -
Meet or exceed all District Goals.
-
Provide Club Bulletin for Club Members and District Officers at least
once a month. -
Club represented at all District Functions, Mid-Winter and NC Lions
State Conventions. -
Club represented at all Zone meetings.
-
Have six (6) District Chair Programs.
100% Secretary
-
Mail Monthly Membership Reports (MMR) by the deadline (see page 9 or directory)
and all other reports on time. -
Attend or send a representative to three(3) Zone and (3) Cabinet
meetings and the Mid-Winter Convention. -
The Lions Club Officers report (PU101) submitted to Lions Clubs
International and to the District Secretary by April 30, 2011.
Club Classifications
Group A Clubs with 16 members or less
Group B Clubs with 17 to 23 members
Group C Clubs with 24 to 37 members
Group D Clubs with 38 or more members
District Cabinet Awards
1st and 2nd Vice District Governors, Zone Chairs and
District Committee Chairs are expected to perform their
duties as outlined by Lions Clubs International and
according to District policies. To receive District
recognition they must attend four (4) District Cabinet
meetings during the current Lions’ year.
Club President Excellence Award
Rules for this Award is as follows:

The club has furthered the Association’s purposes and
has adhered to the Association’s constitution and by-laws
as well as its policies. -
The club has conducted at least one service activity
during the year. -
The president has attended all of the following Lions
meetings during the year. (In case of emergency, a
representative of the club president may attend on behalf
of the president:-
At least two zone meeting.

Club Officer orientation/ training
-
District, multiple district or international
convention.

The club has submitted each of the following reports to
International Headquarters by the due dates:-
Monthly Membership Report (C-23-A)

Annual Club Officer Report (PU101)

The club is in good standing with International
Headquarters, multiple district, and the district at the end of
the fiscal year, June 30th. -
The club has achieved a net gain in membership by
June 30th. -
New members were properly inducted, oriented and
involved in service activities and/or committee work. -
The club has made a contribution to LCIF.
